What is the difference between Comfort Step and Balance Step?
There are two variations of the AuBioMo shoe. The Comfort Step variation with the sole at 15° and the Balance Step variation with the sole at 20°. From the purely visual point of view there is hardly any difference between the Balance Step and the Comfort Step. The differences lie above all in the functional goals and in the personal preference of the wearer.
We recommend The Comfort Step shoe for beginners with a lower level of physical activity as well as for those whose sense of balance is less well developed.
How was the name Anti Step created?
The name Anti Step means: We offer shoes that are different than other shoes. "Normal" shoes often cramp your feet and do not offer any added benefits concerning health. The chung shi Anti Step shoe ist different:
When walking barefoot, the body experiences a certain natural instability which forces the muscles to work a little harder. This has several positive effects on our physique. The Anti Step system simulates barefoot walking to produce the same positive effects: its combined features result in a piece of training equipment for every day.
Every single step both tones and strengthens the muscles producing a harmonious movement that is at once more natural and biomechanically correct. Constant toning and stretching of the muscles also results in improved stability for the joints. In turn, the load which joints experience when walking or standing is considerably reduced. Double Neovent technology in the sole also affords extraordinary comfort every time the shoe is worn, helping to take the pressure off joints and thus protect them.

Can I put insolses into the chung shi shoes?
Yes. You can put insoles into the product lines "AuBioMo", "Anti Step" and "Duxfree". We recommend especially the insoles of the brand "Formthotics". They can be individually customized on any foot.
How to clean a chung shi shoe?
To remove dirt please use a soft moist cloth. In addition to this leather shoes can be treated with a care product.
Please do never clean your chung shi shoes in the washing machine or dish washer!
What is the period of the warranty?
2 years. Please put in any claims concerning defective shoes at the dealer where you have bought them.

Formthotics™ insoles are manufactured from a unique type of CFC-free Polyethylene foam that is waterproof, lightweight, durable and shock absorbing. All Formthotics™ are made from proprietary high grade polyolefin closed cell foams developed specifically for our use. The support structure is a result of the CNC milling of cross-linked polyethylene foam to the correct anatomical shape. The PE and EVA foam is hypo-allergenic, closed cell in structure, and contains Ultra-Fresh™, the internationally proven anti-fungal / anti-bacterial agent, to actively maintain hygiene.
